The function of aluminum liquid distribution bag

Aluminum liquid distribution bags are mainly used in the aluminum and aluminum alloy casting process. They control the flow rate and direction of the aluminum liquid and filter impurities to optimize the casting process and improve the quality of castings.
Main Functions
Flow Rate and Direction Control
Adjusts the flow rate and velocity of the aluminum liquid through bottom openings, guiding the metal flow towards the surface of the mold. This ensures a uniform temperature distribution around the crystallizer, thereby influencing the microstructure of the ingot.
Impurity Filtration
Removes large particulate impurities from the aluminum liquid, such as oxides (e.g., aluminum oxide, chlorides) and refractory material debris, reducing the impact of oxidation and inclusions on the quality of castings and improving the yield.
Reduced Turbulence and Oxidation
By stabilizing the speed and direction of metal flow, it reduces turbulence and swirling, preventing oxidation and improving the mechanical properties (such as hardness and bending strength) and processing properties of the castings.
Key Characteristics
Made with high-temperature resistant fiberglass cloth and coating treatment, it is corrosion-resistant, non-combustible, and produces no smoke.
Easy to install and reusable (mesh size needs to be adjusted according to the flow rate).
When used with a slag barrier ring, it is a key technology for ensuring the quality of aluminum alloy flat ingot casting.
